In an assignment from Electromark Corporation, a progressive supplier of signage and tags for the industrial workplace, Meeker & Associates developed two series of symbols used to identify protective equipment for various industrial tasks. One symbol identifies only the object; the other shows the object on a unisex mannequin (next page). Generally all symbols used worded legends to affirm the requirement.
